Terms of Service

Welcome to Taperwise (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and services (collectively, “Taperwise”). By using Taperwise, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Eligibility

Taperwise is available to any individual wishing to create or view tapering schedules. There are two portals:

Provider Portal: For users who wish to create tapering schedules.
Patient Portal: For users who wish to view tapering schedules assigned to them.

Taperwise does not verify whether a user is a licensed healthcare provider.

2. Subscriptions and Billing

Taperwise offers three subscription plans:

Monthly Plan: €9 per month
Yearly Plan: €90 per year
Lifetime Plan: €349 one-time payment

Each subscription includes a 7-day free trial.

If you cancel your subscription within the 7-day trial period, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel within 7 days, your selected plan will be charged automatically.

Refunds:

Taperwise does not offer refunds as a standard policy. However, if you experience an issue with your subscription, you are welcome to contact us at info@taperwise.com and we will review your situation individually.

3. User Content

Taperwise does not allow users to upload or post their own content outside of the information required to create tapering schedules via standardized forms.

4. Changes to the Service

Taperwise is continuously evolving and may update features or make changes at any time, including pricing updates.

Price Changes: Existing users will not see an increase in price for their current subscription.
If a subscription is canceled and later reactivated, the then-current price will apply.
We may suspend or terminate access to the service if necessary, such as for technical reasons, legal requirements, or misuse. We will provide notice where reasonably possible.

5. Medical Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Taperwise is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is intended solely as a tool to support clinical judgment and planning.

Important:

Healthcare providers and users are fully responsible for the use of any information generated by Taperwise.
Taperwise is not liable for any medical outcomes, including but not limited to medical intervention requirements, injuries, health complications, or death.
By using Taperwise, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for any actions taken based on information provided through the platform.
Taperwise does not provide medical advice or endorse any specific treatment plans.

The responsibility for the creation and use of any tapering schedule lies solely with the individual or healthcare provider creating and applying it.

6. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium.

8. Data Use for Resetwise

Resetwise (a product by Taperwise) collects email addresses solely for the following purposes:

Sending recovery plan summaries or updates if requested by the user.
Providing occasional informational updates related to Resetwise features, improvements, or new content.
Inviting users to provide optional feedback to improve Resetwise.
Offering the opportunity to support Resetwise through optional donations.

We will never sell, rent, or otherwise disclose your email address to third parties.

All participation in feedback or donation opportunities is entirely voluntary.

Resetwise operates independently from the Taperwise subscription plans and remains free to use.
